Dutch Champion Concertband 2007 + Recording

I just wanted to mention that our Harmonie Concordia Obbicht won the Dutch Champion title for Concertbands in the highest division last Saturday. I would have mentioned it earlier… but I had to party with the rest of the orchestra .

We’ve played several pieces with the Theme “Dances”.
- Symphonic Dances, Sergei Rachmaninoff
- Yiddish Dances, Adam Gorb (I had the pleasure to play the Eb part :OD )
- UFO – V Objects, Michael Daugherty Percussion Solo: Etienne Houben
- Latin-American Symphonette – IV Conga, Morton Gould
