I'm new here and have my first stupid question: assuming the used Buffets have been overhauled recently, which model is better --- a 1995-era Buffet E-11 or a Buffet Academy model #40XXX?

what i want to know is e11 versus academy model vs master model. in my opinion (have only tried the e11) i would presume that the master model is the equivalent of the academy model. maybe maybe not.

Buffet "Academy Model" with the serial number below 50,000 is rejected (Pre-R13) professional clarinet due to some cosmetic flaws and/or some inconsistencies with the bore.
