In the Tony Scott thread, mention was made of some players who are not often discussed on this board.
I want to bring up Paulo Sergio Santos of Brazil, who is a wonderful player with a superb range of tones and feeling. I picked up two recordings:
Gargalhada, and
Segura Ele, which is my favorite of the two, ranging from a ridiculously brilliant reading of Jacob do Bandolim's "O Voo Da Mosca" to wonderful arrangements of Villa-Lobos.
These are hard to find in the USA- I got them through a rather Large Auction Site. You can also get them through Brazil, but the shipping fee is pretty hefty.

I have Segura Ele and think it is just fantastic playing. Count me as a Paulo fan.
