Help Repairing Arioso Bass Clarinet C attachment

Dear All, I hope some wise person can help--my niece has broken "a part" off her Arioso Bass Clarinet; she lives in Madison, Wisconsin, and I'm in Berkeley, CA, so I have yet to see what's broken. But I wonder if there is a good repair place near Madison / Milwaukee that might handle Arioso repairs? The local place has told them that it's made in China and unrepairable here.
