I found in internet Galpin Society for musical instrumens study.http://www.music.ed.ac.uk/euchmi/galpin/index.html#gw
In 1998 edition, there is an article titled 'Design of a new clarinet'.
Does anyone know this society and its jounals? Its membership joining is March or April.
Its 'links' may be useful without joining it.

Hiroshi, I looked at the 1998 edition and couldn't find any reference. Are you sure it was 1998? 1998 has the articles on
"Sonido Rajado: the Sacred Sound of Chilean Pifilca Flutes :: JOSÉ PÉREZ de ARCE ... 17 "

That's the NX clarinet. If you go to the A. H. Benade collection (check Anne Bell's pages here on sneezy - www.sneezy.org//anne_bell) you'll find a link. I just had the director of the library put a few new papers up on their server a few weeks ago.
Stephen Fox of Toronto is building an NX with the help of Doug Keefe and Virgina Benade.
