Hi there.

Who in the world has heard of this company or knows anything about it.
The ad said Vintage Selmer and I got this. Just wondered if anyone knew that it is. The serial number is 186 and it is made in Italy and that's all I know.

Thanks,
Pauline

Many sellers think a clarinet is a Selmer because it has a Selmer mouthpiece or is in a Selmer case. Buyers beware.

I don't know anything about Tempertone other than what it said on the clarinet.

As far as I know there were only two major clarinet makers in Italy, Orsi and Rampone-Cazzani, and both made decent instruments -- so what the heck! Enjoy your Tempertone.......

for example, Martin Busine saxes and clarinets have been manufactured in Italy. Maybe yours is a stencil mfgr's own brand...?
