Does anyone know where I could get a lower joint for a 150th Anniverwary r13 Buffet R13 Any infoormation much appreciated.

Contact Buffet in France if you are a repairer and they will make one for you. Wholesale price is about $300, and this includes engraving the same serial number as your upper joint on the new lower one, as well as pillaring and springing.

No, they remanufacture according to the precise dimensions of that year/ R13 version, which is the primary reason they ask for the serial number. Obviously the fact they then stamp the lower joint with a number to match makes it an even better service.
The intonation appears to be just as excellent as with the original, or better. I don't know whether it's becasue it's a one off, but the bore is just as glassy and flawless as in days of yore.
I don't know if other manufacturers do this too (certainly Selmer used to and then stamp the joint with the serial number and a star to denote it's been replaced).

I have a 150th Anniversary Buffet that I bought in 1975 for $800 (no, I'm not parting with the lower joint). I've always wondered if there's anything truly "special" about it as compared with the other R13s that were made in the same era. (Other than a decal on the case that identifies it as being an Anniversary model, it seems like a typical R13.)
Any insights?

I own and play frequently on two different 1975 R13 (the Anniversary year) models. Both are very fine instruments, with a flexible sound, very good intonation, color and projection.
My 154xxx is marked with the Anniversary logo on the upper joint, but my 162xxx, also made in 1975 is not. Thus, not all 1975 instruments were marked with the special logo. Perhaps only the earlier made ones in 1975 were specially marked?
I'm not sure if there was anything special about the wood (although like most early Buffets of that time, it is uniformly tight grained), but the bore is highly polished and the keywork on 154xxx is silver plated.
Clark Fobes, in one of his articles said to be on the look out for the Anniversary series R13's, as they were quite exceptional clarinets...GBK

GBK...my 160xxx doesn't have the Anniversary logo, but it came with the Anniversary case. The bore does appear to be highly polished, but the keys are nickel. I suspect I don't really have the Anniversary model. Perhaps the differentiating characteristic is the silver plate?
I'm certainly not disappointed, though: it's a beautiful sounding instrument.

I have an R-13 that is from 1975. The serial number is 150xxx so this would be in the early part of 1975 however it is not stamped as the anniversary . Ohhhh well still plays good though

It would be interesting to see exactly which serial numbers from the 1975 production run were marked 150th Anniversary Model (Modele du 150th Anniversaire) on the body of the instrument.
154xxx - yes
162xxx - no
Now I'm curious to know if it was selected instruments, or just a limited consecutive run of numbers/instruments.

166,2xx RC - no
* = sold.
interestingly, 153 / 155 were in standard Buffet cases of the era.
166,2xx RC (mfg 3/76) was supplied in an Anniversary case.
none of these were silver plated.
I've seen more Anniversary model s/n's without the logo and without the silver plate than I have with it.
My RC is very tight grained wood, highly polished bore and to the feel, light as a feather. ( I have/had the same characterists with R13's of earlier years)
Interestingly, in 1/06 there was an RC for sale by 2sd owner, all original in like new condition. The pics provided and subsequent pics I requested indicated the following:
Anniversary year s/n
no logo
Anniversary case........w/o logo....and not the slightest indication it had fallen off
Nickel plated keys
tight grained wood

this 'remake' service.........
even if available, one would need to go through a Buffet dealer......who will add their markup to Buffet's price......which you will not know
to determine if this service is available, one needs to contact the Jacksonville, FL facility. They will email France. When a response comes back, Jacksonville will phone/email you regarding availability of the service. If available, you will be given a p/n for this 'service' and instructed to send it to Buffet through a dealer. All pricing will be conducted through the dealer.
As of yesterday , 3/22, Buffet was locating a USED part for me. I was told that if available, I'd be given the p/n and would have to order it through a dealer.
I already ordered the nylon lever pins and paid a dealer for that order.
