I have recently acquired a Martin Freres boxwood clarinet circa 1850 in the key of C. Can anyone please tell me what kind of mouthpiece I should use for this particular instrument. Thanks very much.

make sure you treat it well . . . boxwood not as hardy as grenedilla or rosewood.

there is a german company that makes period and modern clarinets. my spelling is likely wrong, but it's Schwenke and Segelke. they would probably be able to make something for you.
also Steve Fox in Canada does period instruments. he would know, too.
