The barrel I first got for my clarinet played great..then it cracked so I got a new one. The new one plays real nice.. theres just a lot of notes where my clarinet gets real sharp even though I'm pulled out real far out. I'm thinking about getting a new barrel. any idea if i should get a chadash or a moeing barrel? Which ones improves tuning and sound?

alrighty then...which one gives you a darker sound....and by the way are the rings of the barrel gonna be silver or nickel or anything cause my clarinet is nickel and i don't want it to be silver or real shinny cause something like that would really bother me.

It all Depends on type of horn u play, and what notes are out of tune and by how much.
Make a graph of the entire scale showing sharpness and flatness. Use a tuner.
Then discuss the situation with an expert, teacher, etc.
Try a few different type....all of the after market barrels have characteristics.

 disclaimer....I make and sell barrels.
