 disappearing clarinet

awhile back there was about a youtube click where the guy plays while taking apart his clarinet and ends with the mouthpiece cap.

i did a search and cant find it.

if anyone remembers this can you point me in the right direction so i can give it to my clarinet section.

Yes, I have that piece at home...will look it up tonight as I can't remember the name of it. It's not easy to maintain the intonation especially near the end, but great for training the ear! The piece has been mentioned on this site before, that's how I knew about it. Someone else might beat me to it and write you during the day today.

Hi there,

The piece is called Immer Kleiner (Always Smaller), but I can't remember the composer...always wanted to play that at a recital, but never figured my adjudicators would have the appropriate sense of humour ;-)

Yes, that's the one. It's a good piece to wake up an audience. Maybe have a person in the wings who's a good catcher to throw your clarinet parts to!!! (I can sense the tension already...OK, it's a great idea in theory.
