Oh, trumpets trying to outdo each other - now there's a novelty. Shame they'll be needing a good dentist afterwards.
But good to imagine their (brass players) egos have taken a pounding in the bloopers clips - their 'higher, louder, faster' mentality seems to have backfired on them.

Oh, the bloopers are so painful. The emotional toll is almost as bad on the listener as the player.

Chris, that reminds me of a piece someone gave our community band called "Trumpet Tantrum" where in the middle of the piece the trumpets suddenly split into two opposing camps and just try to out blow each other while furiously & randomly working their valves -- they then stop and the rest of the band yells, "Trumpets! Behave!" then the music resumes. It's different, but audiences love it, especially the kids. Eu
