 Hi all,

 I play clarinet for years (newly on a BC prestige) and I want to buy an Eb clarinet... just for fun...

 So I really don't search the best instrument, but only something which is 'playable'...

 I saw some adds on ebay about really low cost Eb clarinets, but I was wondering if anybody already tried them (like the ones from australia,cibaili, i saw very bad comments on them on the forums about them
  )
 So... any advise on what to buy ? it's only to play 3 or 4 times a year...

 Thanks in advance,
 Krams

 I went through the same game last fall. Need a decent instrument, only to be played a few times a year.

 Do the ebay thing, but only look for name-brand instruments. Anything else and you will be tempting the fates to bring you a horn that will have horrible intonation (as if the intonation isn't challenging anyway).

 Also, look around here. Check out other clarinet-player websites and see if anybody is offering one for sale. Do a google search on "Eb clarinet for sale".

 I found mine when a fellow poster here e-mailed me and said he had a Yamaha for sale; I ended up buying it from him.

 Good deals on Eefers are out there; you just gotta spend some time looking.

 Another idea is the house brand from wwbw. I got mine about 2 years ago. I basically have only had to use it about 4 times since. It was cheep and palys in tune as much as any other Eb I have played. Of course with the current situation with the wwbw you may want to avoid them till they are back on track.
