Hey Simon,
You probably already know that this is a good site to find out what the clarinet community is up to.
I buy things from Weiner Music from time to time via mail, but will probably never have the opportunity to " stop in".

Hi Simon,
I had my R-13 overhauled (terrific!) at your shop close to 21 years ago. Then I went pro for a while and turned to a fraternity brother for work on my horns (playing dinner theaters and orchestra pits barely made ends meet and he accepted payment in the form of beer
Welcome!
Chris

Sorry if I was a little confusing. I didn't mean to actually come into the store. Maybe I should have said drop me a note or email or message saying hello. Thanks to all those who did say hello.

Hi Simon,
I am sure we have met, perhaps at Clarinetfest in Atlanta? I think I also stopped in your store and bought a mouthpiece while visiting relatives in Queens. Poppas music, right? Welcome to the Bboard.

Simon, could you please tell us how the new minimum prices imposed by Buffet have affected your store. ¿Are you selling fewer clarinets at a higher price or is it business as usual?

Its a bit of both. We have a reputation for clarinets and have not lost any of the business that we had before. With or financing plans and rebates that we offer on the purchase of any clarinet, we balance out pretty well. That is not to say that the MSP policies haven't been hard to work with because they are but Buffet is still a great clarinet so now its up to the individual even more.

I met you at the Clarinetfest in Salt Lake City and we talked for quite awhile. I also ordered an R13 from your store some years back. Great service!

Greetings, Simon. I'm new here too. I have also had an overhaul of an R-13 years ago and am just about ready to spring for a new set. I'll be there live sometime in the coming months.
Best Wishes,
Roy Gussman
