What is the difference between the Ridenour Arioso and Lyrique clarinets?
The Lyriques clarinet seem to be more expensive, but is it better than the Arioso. I couldn't find much information about the Arioso on Ridenour's website, did he abandon that model?
Thanks.

I believe he designed both models, but the Arioso is not actually finished by him. The Lyriques are hand-finished at Tom's place. From the opinions people have left on this board (use the search function), the Lyrique is a much better instrument.

I have owned three of the Ridenour products, two TR147 and one Arioso.
Each seemed to have an improved level of fit and finish.
The first "feels" nearly identical to my (MUCH) more expensive Opus from LeBlanc - but the keywork is rough by comparison.
The Arioso was hand finished by TR and is a giant killer.
If the Lyrique is further advanced - it's worth the money.
