I recently acquired a Hite mouthpiece that actually has decent tone quality and plays easy. There is a name that is worn off the mouthpiece and then it says "by Hite"
Can anyone give me info on this mouthpiece? Thanks

Can you distinguish the difference in the mouthpiece material? Is the
mouthpiece plastic or rod rubber. The plastic has a shiny appearance and the lettering is white if any remains. I own both the premier and the professional model. The premier model is less expensive and available at most music outlets and is an excellent student model mouthpiece and reed friendly. Is this info useful?

The Premier is a student model mouthpiece which works very nicely ..
the J and D Hite mouthpieces are made from a higher grade rubber they are professional models...therefore more expensive...
