Has anyone heard the Album "This is not a Clarinet" by Evan Ziporyn. He's some Clarinet Prof at MIT (ya.. music at MIT... kinda weird eh?) Especially in the 6th and 7th track. Is that recorded ontop of each other or Just Incredible Multiphonics played with different Rhythem for the Top and Bottom notes of the multiphonic?

Great album. Those are recorded on top of each other (or with two people, but IIRC the album is only Ziporyn playing...?). Aside from the general impossibility of making that sound by yourself on one standard clarinet (even with Ziporyn's mad chops), they're separated in space. Listen with headphones and it becomes more obvious.
