Perhaps I missed seeing some sort of notice, but it appears that Davie Cane company no longer imports Gonzalez reeds and the Conn company has taken over that reed's importation. Does anyone know just how to order the FOF's now that Davie Cane no longer imports, or perhaps Davie Cane does not even exist at this point?

Relax. Davie Cane is still in business. Check the website or call Phil. The truth of the matter is that national distribution is a daunting task, and Conn-Selmer has the infrastructure to do it. DC is still very much part of the picture, but our friends in Elkhart are doing the heavy lifting.

You'll also notice that Davie Cane is no longer listed as a sponsor under reeds.

Go to the 1Stop Clarinet and Sax shop at http://1stopclarinet.stores.yahoo.net/. They sell most of the big name brand reed and ligatures for cheaper than WWBW or Davie Cane. They do carry Gonzalez FOF's (just got a box in the mail today). I think you'll find them quick to ship and quite reliable.

Don't you just love doing business with people you don't know.
