They look the same but I can't really tell from the pictures or descriptions. Does anyone know what makes the first one worth $130 less than the other?

One is real leather and the other isn't?

I can't see the difference between the first case and the second case, but I can tell you the difference between both the cases you posated and many other cases - the ones you posted are very bad. I had this case (the single Bb clarinet version), my R13 came in it. It is one of the worst cases I've seen. It is small and convinient (other than that you don't have any room for anything except the clarinet) but the closing mechanism is terrible. Can open while you walk in the middle of the street (as happened to me). I would really recommend not buying this case, and I imaigne there are better cases for this price (or even less).

The website is not helpful, as it actually shows the same picture for both cases.

The cheaper version has a plastic exterior (pictured) whilst the more expensive option has a leather exterior, and is a very pretty case.

I do however agree with clarnibass...I have the full leather version which came with my Toscas, and have never used it...I can't anything in it and don't like to leave the bell attached to the lower joint. I have a BAM Trekking case and would spend my money on that instead, despite the larger size.

Edited to add...in fact the pictures are useless...the pic shows the single clarinet version in both cases (excuse the pun...)

If this is a double case why do they then have a picture of a single case ?-
