Buffet Bass Clarinet neck question

Hi:

I am the relativeley newowner of an older Buffet Bass Clarinet, serial number 19,xxx.

It has a one piece neck with the cork tenon on the end that fits to the body. Is there an advantage (I would assume for tuning) to a two piece neck? And if so, where would I find one, used or new to fit this instrument without breaking the bank.

I haven't discovered any real tuning advantage with my two-piece Buffet Prestige neck, but I do like the angle. It makes playing the bass clarinet less like a saxophone, and more comfortable.

Most bass clarinet crooks with the tuning slide will be for pro bass clarinets and will usually have the speaker key on them.

Does your bass have the double register mechanism on it?
