Hi guys,
I know this is not quite related to the clarinet but I was hoping to find out some information about these pieces.
Violina by Hidas
Concerto for Violin and Band by Evzan Zamecnik
Concertino for Violin and Wind Octet by Robert Linn
Danse macabre by (Saint-Saens? I 'm not sure about the composer but its scored or arranged for violin and concert band)
I can probably find out somethings about the composers but if anybody has any experience hearing or performing them, I'd appreciate them. Thanks!

kurt weill concerto for violin and winds. Under appreciated, yet UNBELIEVABLY good piece.

Kurt Wiell always. It's a great piece, did it last year with my group in the Carlisle International Festival. My advice is to learn the score backwards, we did it un-conducted and it's not easy trying to direct and play the first part. It was well worth the effort.

I wonder what part of the country your ISP will be in next, Peter? You've moved around a fair bit in the last few weeks!
A concert band I used to play in over in Brighton (Southern Winds) did the Kurt Weill several years back now - shame they're not going anymore as we did tackle some tricky stuff, but the audience numbers were never great.
