...rummaging around the net I came on Stuart Eminson's site. MP3's of some solos and clarinet quartet performances.
Stuart plays six brief pieces...on the Pierne Andante-Scherzo he has a musical vibrato that is really pleasing.
The quartet is really fine too, playing some things that would be hard to find in CDs.
All congenial clarinet sounds great to hear any time.

I agree, Stuart Eminson is a terrific clarinetist. At his website, you can hear the only recording that I could find of Patterson's "Conversations" as well as some excellent clarinet quartets. I love his interpretation of the Horovitz Sonatina! If he would come out with a CD with full length versions, I would be first in line to buy one.

Many thanks for your kind words- Very much appreciated.
The Paul Patterson piece is superb, very rewarding to play and also attractive to the audience. Paul Patterson is a wonderfully sincere and supportive gentleman. I have had great feedback from him and from the publishers of the work, both of whom I've performed the piece too on different occasions.
