Hi
I'd like to ask what fingering would you suggest to use in these places. I already looked in the fingering charts, but I would also like to see what actual players will choose to use.
All notes are in relation to the C4 being the lowest C on the Bb clarinet (like the example on the top of every forum page shows).
The first note is G#6 and the context is G5 G#6 Eb5. The notes are 8th notes in about 140-150bpm (I don't have a metronom so I'm guessing the tempo from memory). For this G#6 intonation is not the most important, but mostly response and easy fingering for the fast transitions.
Also the fingering for Bb6, C#7, and E7.
The Bb I don't really have any problem with, but I just tried until I found a good fingering, maybe there is better. The melody is slow notes F#6 G6 Bb6. Right now I use the same fingering as altisimo A but with the throat G# key (and maybe also the C#/G# key, I forgot atm).
The C#7 apears twice. Once after Bb6, and one time starting an attack without any notes before.
The E7 is after a C#7.
At the moment I told the composer that it is doubtful I'll be able to play the E7, but I'm willing to try it. I listened to the original recording, and the clarinet player on it is a famous and very high level international soloist. He struggles with the E7 but he can sort of play it. Both the C#7 and especially E7 have a lot of mouth-vibrato when he plays them though and obviously are not very in tune.

OK I managed most, but not the E7. Any fingering I try (from the charts) give me a F#7 and with my mouth the lowest I can get it (before it stops speaking completely) is barely an F7. I just can't play the E7 at all. Does anyone have a fingering idea for this note please?
By the way, for the C# I found a decent fingering, and it is not as hard to play this note as I thought, but just wondering about some other fingerings (most of them) on the charts. Most had the F/Bb hole closed, and the three lower right side (Eb/F#/Bb) trill keys open. How is it possible to do this?
Regarding the Bb6, I use now R T (throat G#) x x x (G#/C#) and it is good. Any better suggestions?
The G#6 I can play it but still haven't found a fingering that is very comfortable in the context above. If anyone has an idea....?
Thanks very much!
