 DMA in Clarinet Performance

What does a DMA in clarinet performance take? What courses are required?
Is it possible to receive a DMA in clarinet performance if your masters is not specifically in clarinet performance?

I am looking into teaching primarily the clarinet at a university level. However, I am thinking of possibly getting a masters in music education, and am wondering how this will effect things.
