Hello there,
I am playing quite for a long time. Now am able to play with a sting ensemble/ orchestra. But I have some problems finding the notes. So, I thought maybe You could help me.
I would like to play Wagner's adagio, also known as Baermann's adagio. If anyone could help me with the orchestra notes (or at least conductor) I would be very greatful.
You could also suggest some other peaces I could play solo clarinet (A or Bb ) with the strings.
Thant you in advance.

The piece in question is the middle movement of Baermann's 3rd clarinet quintet op. 23. It's now widely accepted that the work is not Wagner's. Baermann scribbled the name Wagner on top of the manuscript, who was apparently another clarinettist Baermann intended to send the work to.
I don't know which country you're in, but www.juneemerson.co.uk has the complete work available for purchase. I am not aware that the Adagio is published seperately in the original version, it is published alone with piano.
I recommend the rest of the work, Wolfgang Meyer's recording of the string orchestra version is most enjoyable.
Other works for string orchestra and clarinet include the Finzi and Copland (plus harp and piano) Concertos, then on the chamber music front you have the quintets by Brahms, Mozart, Weber, Bliss, Baermann and others.
