As an antipodean we're used to hear good orchestras (apart from our own ones that is) very seldom as the costs of touring to Australia are horrific. The Vienna Phil, however, has decided after some diplomatic efforts on behalf of the Sydney Symphony to play in the Opera House Concert Hall (both concerts are rather predictable I must say but I'm looking forward to hear this incredible orchestra live in my home town).
