Surfing around came on an interesting site of a
young English clarinetist.
He has a number of audio clips...all interesting
and some new stuff.
If he's new to you...give him a look and listen.

Stuart I didn't havej time to listen to all the clips but I enjoyed your Poulenc and Finzi. I don't have a decent recording of the Finzi so usually I only get to hear my students demolishing this piece.
Great web site and lovely playing.
I notice you play on a Gregory Smith mouthpiece. I have one in my possesion but I seem to be the only person who can't get a decent tone on the things. Do they take much getting used too?
Chris.

Hi Chris,
Gregory Smith sent me over 5 or 6 different models of his mouthpieces, and the most difficult thing was to choose which one to keep. I was very happy from the offset, (once I had sorted out the reeds which best match), and after much deliberation ended up purchasing 2 of his mouthpieces. Later down the line, I also bought one of his mouthpieces for Eb clarinet.
Many thanks, to you, for sparing the time in looking at my website, and for your comments.
