Hello,
Is it a good choice for a beginner who don't play soprano clarinet to start on the bass? Is it more difficult to play? Thank you!

IMHO, start with the soprano clarinet, after having a good feel for it, then try out the bass cl [or alto cl to graduate toward bass]. I recommend this procedure for going to a saxophone also. Otherwise embouchure and/or fingering-reach problems may be discouraging to a younger-smaller [?] person. Will discuss this on chat this afternoon with other cl'ists if asked. Don
