 boosey hawkes edgware

My daughter's b&h edgware has a broken key. It is potmetal so the repair tech will have to make a new one. For the small fortune it is going to cost to do this, I thought I might find a parts clarinet on ebay and have the key swapped out. Because I don't play the clarinet, I don't know if this is a viable option. Also, does the edgware go by any other name? Do I have to be careful to stay within the same model year or will any edgware clarinet do? In cars, from one year to the next the taillights, for example, may be very different. I don't want to get a parts clarinet only to find the key I want to swap out is completely different!

Thanks for any help.
