 Breaking in a Buffet
Author: arav9

I am a 17 year old clarinetist, and I just got an "upgrade" from my old Selmer clarinet to a Buffet R-13. My instructor and I, however, do not know the proper way of breaking in this clarinet, I was hoping for some input on how to break in this clarinet.

Lots of discussion and MANY threads in the archives if you care to search.

In addition to Peter's advice, if you don't have a copy of the pamphlet Buffet includes with their new R13's, you can download it here:

Best regards,
