Hello all
I've been going though some of the old BBoard Archives and I have seen alot of talk of Ringart Kell's recording of the Three Pieces (Stravinsky). I was wondering where i could find/buy the recordings. Also, who are some other artists with good interpritaions of the Three Pieces?
Thanks

I think you mean Reginald Kell. His recordings are available on the box set "Reginald Kell - The Complete American Decca Recordings." I bought the three tracks off of itunes but plan on buying the whole set at some point in the future. Impressive recordings, although a lot of people give him a hard time for the way he is so free with the time in all three pieces.

Tony Pay has a good recording, as does Loren Kitt (National Symphony). I'm sure others have favorites, but these are the two I loan to my students.
