I know it's across the state, but Robert (Bob) Scott (I think he's one of the sponsors of this site) in Lansing is very, very good. He works out of his home, and he knows how to regulate and adjust clarinets. I've used Bob and his products, (barrels, ligatures, mouthpieces) and I think he is one of the true "gentlemen" of the clarinet world. Forty years of fixing the kiddies' horns at Interlochen has to count for something, I think.

All the sponsors are there on the right. Mr. Scott isn't one of them.

OK Mark,
I suppose Bob Scott chose not to be a sponsor this year. At any rate, that's how I found him in the first place (couple of years ago when he did "sponsor/advertise" on this website. Shall we refer to him as a "former" sponsor?

Lynn,
That's just a list. Sponsors have the little notes next to them. But I have heard that Robert Scott is very good. Just not a sponsor ...

Mr. Scott is a great guy and his work is great!
Who are you stuying with in the Fall? I went to Michigan 98-02, and I was told that Professor Ormand was leaving after this year. Do yo know who they are bringing in to replace him?
Good Times!

Hi,
I take my clarinets and saxes to Eric Satterlee at Meridian Winds just east of Lansing which will be about a 45 minute ride from A2.
Eric is top notch and does a lot of repair work for EMU as well as U of M. I sit and chat with him at the bench (I usually need just adjustments) and he'll says "I think this will play..." and he hands you the isntrument. I have never had any reason to disagree with him. He sets the clearances just how I like them.
