Went to a concert last night, clarinet and piano. The clarinetist was playing a tosca of which the keywork was making a lot of noise. Is this normal for what i think must be a clarinet not older than maybe four years probably less?

I've played 4 Toscas (2 wood, 2 Greenlines) and they didn't make more noise than any other model. It was probably he specific clarinet setup (or maybe lack of it) that was noisy. Maybe the type of pads that give him some advantages are also noisier.
