I currently have a music education degree, but I want to go into music therapy. Does anybody have any information how much more it would take to get a music therapy degree?

stagehand, What it will take to get a degree in music therapy will probably depend on where you apply and how many of your music ed credits the university will accept. You should check with schools you're interested in attending.

Hey,
FDF is right, check with the school you're planning on attending. In the meantime, if you want to know about life as a music therapy major, feel free to email

If you are not familiar with the course of study, what determines your desire to take that career path?
