I am a beginner, with about 6 months playing experience. I am wondering if anybody can point me at some easy clarinet/flute and clarinet/cello duets and clarinet/flute/violin trios that I can play with some friends?

As chance would have it, I just today picked up this title. The full info is:
Rubank Educational Library No. 196
Seventy-Eight Duets for flute and clarinet
by Himie Voxman
Volume I (Nos. 1 to 55)

Thank you very much
Now any cello/clarinet duets? Or violin/flute/clarinet trios?
:)

Good question, Bob. I found almost all of them to be most uninspiring for my students a few decades ago. I resorted to flute or violin duet music, transcribing a part for clarinet.

Gordon, uninspiring doesn't even come close (totally with you on that).
There are some nice duets in Lazarus but transposition would be needed, at least in Book I they're graded (somewhat).
Crickey, does anyone use Lazarus anymore?
Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.

Seems to me that a beginning clarinetist and his friends able to find some music that they could play together is totally inspiring.

I think that it is worth it to go through the Langenus clarinet books and pick out some duets. Many have equal participation for the two parts --no "bassoon" accompaniment.
Transpose alternate top line/bottom line parts for the flute --minding their range.
Many pretty pieces, good stuff.
