The original version of this work "Breakdown Tango" (clarinet, violin, cello, piano) was written for myself and my chamber group Antares. It is to this day one of our most loved commissions! We have perfomed it over 150 times in various venues and can be heard on our CD Eclipse on the Innova label. John is a wonderful composer and we are currently working on getting a new piece from him for ourselves and orchestra. We are very happy to see how our commission blossomed into the popular band and orchestral versions!

GZ.
