The excerpts series books listed below should have what you need:

Orchester Probespiel - Test Pieces for Orchestral Auditions Clarinet edited by Heinz Hepp and Albert Rohde.

Difficult Passages and Solos for Clarinet and Bass Clarinet - Book 1 and Book 2 edited by Alamiro Giampieri

Symphonic Repertoire for the Bass Clarinet - Volume One and Volume Two by Michael Drapkin

Wagner/Hinze: Orchestral Excerpts for Clarinet: published by International.
Generous portions of clarinet and bass clarinet stuff from the "Ring" operas as well as Tristan, Lohengrin, etc. Great for learning your bass clef "A" transposition skills.

Strauss/Bartholomey: Orchestral Studies from Symphonic Works. Book III has Eb and Bass Clarinet extensive exerpts from all the tone poems (Till, Don Quixote, Death and Transfiguration, Heldenleben, Zarathustra etc.) Originally published by Peters; available in a International reprint, too.

I use both of these books in my bass clarinet teaching.

Luyben's website shows both of these in stock.

Ditto on Luyben...Anne seems to make it a point to keep this sort of thing in stock.

Luyben is the place for all your Clarinet music needs...IMHO

You vitually have to have every book mentioned so far to cover the entire gambit of excerpts.

Don't forget to buy parts though....some music (ex. Stravinsky) is not really excerpted anywhere. Even so, the parts are fun to practice!

I agree with Larry. I've owned the Strauss and Wagner all my life, Added the Drapkins as they came out.
