The Forte has the advantage that you are dealing directly with the maker and both he and the clarinet have a good reputation on this forum.
The yamaha has the advantage that you buy it from a local store and in case of a problem it is probably easier/less expensive to deal with (for example in the unlikely case that you would have to ship the Forte back). That depends a lot on how good the customer service is at your local store.
I also agree with the post above, that for a beginner a used instrument is probably the best way to go to get a good price for a reasonable clarinet. Remember that for the Forte you would have to pay tax when it arrives (16.5% - 30% here, I have no idea what it is in France but I think it is also a lot).
A theoretical question for Americans: If the Forte was made in Europe, could only be mail ordered (i.e. you can't try it before you decide), and the tax you had to pay was around 20%, would you still order it and not buy a Yamaha (or any similar plastic clarinet) at your local store (or online American store)?
