I have several CDs by Eduard Brunner.
I like his tone quality, especially titled Dal niente(ECM1599).
This CD includes Isang Yun,Stravinsky,Boulez, Lachenmann etc.
Anyone knows what instrument he plays?(German,French?/Brand?)
Thank you

Eduard Brunner (I love his recordings of the Krommer clarinet quartets) plays a Boehm clarinet - I don't know the brand. This is rather uncommon for someone holding the clarinet chair at a German "Hochschule fuer Musik" (in Saarbruecken).
Edgar (also playing French Boehm clarinets in Germany)

Thank you,edgar
Have you played German system?
If you did, please tell us what it was like to play a instrument with 30 keys
or so.
Every German clarinet seems to use different key system and with so many
keys ,is it harder to learn in the beginning?
Just curious....
