Hey Amber -
I wish we did something like that on the East coast ! What my thing is - you go in .. do 10 scales, play your solo, sightread then leave.. That's it.. ~ I don't know .. I am just really hating it -
Omg ! Korean is the awesomest song ever - What part did you play ? I'm playing Bb 1 - and it's amazing.. i love all that high stuff
Bino -
I cannot afford to stop practicing .. yeah, I need a break.. but right now .. i'm soo afraid if I take one, i'll fall.. I'm confident in my playing abilities.. I know i'm good, and yes I know I need work. I truthfully belive that you can never stop learning.. there is always something more, something new.. It's all good. I have people all around me critizing, critiquing, commenting, complimenting me.. I don't know. .

Laurie,
That is what it CAN be like. But while you are hanging out, waiting for your ride, you just start talking to people... or in my case they talk to you! It is really just a head game. I haven't been to one in three years(shame on me, I know) but we still have to do the same things you do.
Are you a senior? I know aloy of seniors who are panicking like you are because of auditions, stress, etc...
Don't worry about it so much! Playing is too much fun to ruin it by worring what other people think.
I performed Korean on bass, but have practiced the 1rst part for other, long reasons. What do you think of the Jupiter symphony clarinet part? I haven't played it yet, but I love how it sounds. Have you played it?
