We did Immer Kleiner when I was in HS. My teacher played the solo part, and I played his bratty kid who kept stealing bits of his clarinet during the piece.

Checking the archives for past threads is always a good idea. This piece has been discussed many times before.
Immer Kleiner" (German for "Always Smaller") is printed either for clarinet and band, or for clarinet with piano reduction. It is available through Ludwig Music, 557 E. 140th St., Cleveland, OH 44110-1999. Ph. # 1-800 851-1150. Composer is Adolf Schreiner, and transcribed by George S. Howard.
This is a humorous novelty piece that never fails to connect with the audience. It can be a fun way to end a serious recital...GBK
