 Alto Clarinet Supplies

Alrighty,

I have an Alto Clarinet that's missing the flat spring under the A key. What size spring does this horn take? I'm working on the horn myself and was hoping someone knew the specs.

Thanks!

What brand and model of alto clarinet do you have? That spring tension and the related screw tension where the A and Ab cross each other can be a difficult adjustment on any size of clarinet, btw. Been there, cussed that.

You will be better served by going to a good repair shop for your alto. I do minor repair myself, but draw the line at springs, expert help is a "must". I'm sure that our fine repairers, John Butler, Gordon NZ, Dave Spiegelthal and several others will echo my thots. Luck, Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
