I am preparing program notes and I cannot find information on the composer Lecail. I cannot find out what his first name is! Anyone know? I am playing his Fantasie Concertante, originally written for Eb clarinet, on alto sax .

Looks like 2 of them, one C. and one G.

Lecail, Clovis
(1859-1932)

Lecail, G.
Fantaisie Concertante
Chicago: Rubank c1939
cl-alt, pno
score (8p.), part
Arr. H. Voxman
3629

He has a listing in the Sousa Library papers, and this is from Belgium:

Marche du 4e Régiment de Ligne (Muldermans) et Marche du 5e Régiment de Ligne (Lecail), Odéon, A 163581, 78 tours, par la Musique royale des Grenadiers belges ss. dir. Capitaine V. Bury.
