Hi
Anyone knows where I could find a case for a Bb Selmer Clarinet? The body is made of 1 piece and most cases are made for 2-piece body clarinets
I am in NY and have been to several of the big instrument stores and have had no luck.

Many music stores have junk boxes full of old one-piece metal clarinets. You could also try a soprano sax case.
I hesitate to recommend this place, because it's easy to get ripped off, but there's one old-fashioned only-as-honest-as-they-need-to-be store left, International Music, a/k/a Rod Baltimore Music, 174 West 48th Street, NY 212-575-1508, where you can get lots of old stuff.

Badger State Repair still has one piece Bb clarinet cases for sale. You may want to contact them directly or see if your local music store and get one for you from them. Also, checking my Allied Supply catalog they have one piece cases for metal clarinets listed. It would probably work for a wood Bb as well.

You can have a Weisman case made to any specs. These are funky and bomb-proof, made from tubular aircraft aluminum, but perhaps worth more than the horn inside!

Probably aren't too many floating around, but some of the old Bundy cases were made to hold the clarinet with the center sections assembled.

I don't know if hew sells the cases separately, but Luis Rossi's clarinets come made with one main body piece, and the cases accommodate the bell and several tuning barrels, as well. They are a little largeish for a single instrument case, but they appear to be quite durable.
