 fast legato problem

I'm playing a piece called Estilian Caprice by Gene Paul (found in a clarinet solo book), there's a part I can't manage to get ok.

There's a fast legato (2 notes by 2) passage, notes are (E5-C#6)-(E5-C#6)-(C#5-A#5)-(D5-B5) all in 16th at about 132

Try to play it fast...you'll see

Any suggestions for those large intervals...without changing embouchure, because it's too fast?

For the E to C#, just use your left index finger on the high C#, and from the low C#to the A#- use 1&1 for the A#. The next measure goes down to a D up to B natural. Even though it is lagato, stop each slur (from the begining of the Presto) with the tongue. Then make the staccatos in the next measure, and those similar to it, short, starting the note with the tongue, and stopping it with the tongue. Practice it slowly to start with, then bring it up to tempo. Just don't hit the reed hard with the tongue. Trust me, at the speed you will play, it will still sound lagato and clean up the articulation.

I believe I have the correct place? It's the 15th measue in from the Presto? This fingering and articulation should clear up your problems.

I hope this helps you, and have fun!

Yep, you're at the good place, as you said I guess it's only a pratice matter... the fingering E5-C#6 is easy but playing it legato is really hard for me!
I'll pratice harder

Make sure to stop each grouping of slurred notes with the tongue. when you bring the tempo up, it will even out and sound legato.
