Somebody gave me an absolutely dreadful, poorly intonated b flat clarinet called a Cortone, which I shall use only for outdoors. I can't find any identifying marks, but am I right in thinking it was made somewhere in Eastern Europe sometime during the Soviet era? It is made of an indeterminate plastic material resembling bakelite.
