Hi Folks,
I recently tried one of Ed Pillingers Kaspar copy mouthpieces, they are fabulous. Ed is a British mouthpiece maker, many of the top clarinettists and saxophonists in the UK and Europe us his pieces.
Ed has a very unique method of molding and duplicating mouthpieces. He recently molded a Kaspar Cicero which turned out fantastic. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it plays and looks just like a Cicero. I highly recommend contacting him if you are interested in a great alternative to a vintage Kaspar, he does a superb job with them.
I also recommend trying Ed's other types of mouthpieces, clarinet and saxophone - his mouthpieces are quite unique (totally made from scratch), with a wide variety of facings, bores and chambers to satisfy just about any kind of player.
Look on the internet for his website, hes a great craftsman, very knowledgable and quite a nice fellow!

the Pillinger Kaspar was moulded from an original Cicero 13 I sent him some months ago. It is a remarkable copy down to every last sratch and a nice safe modern alternative to the real thing. He will copy any favourite mouthpiece for thse who wish for a modern backup.
