Anyone every heard of a Robert Durand
two piece metal clarinet. I believe
it's french, made in Paris. At least
that's what is engraved on the bell.

No, its prob. an "E Pluribus Unum" [one of {from}many] metal cl's, made in the 1910-30's by both US and French etc makers for the "student" marching band use, some OK, others poor quality! We frequently refer to these as "stencil" horns!, having a "marketing" name only. Don
