Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some information on the numbers that are on certain era Chedeville and Lelandais mouthpieces. The search I did on this site didn't contain any conclusive results. Mouthpieces dating from the 40s, for example, seem to have numbers to the right of the facing, the most common being 6, 7, and 8.
My question is this: Do these numbers refer only to the facing, or also to measurments in the interior, such as the chamber, baffle, and sidewalls?
Any and all responses are welcome, but I would greatly appreciate it if some of the mouthpiece experts on here could contribute.
Thanks,
Jim
