Hi everybody, A while back I bought a used Jean Buisson clarinet for a couple hundred bucks at a music store. I don't know if it was a good or bad deal. There is a repair on one place. I think it's a decent repair.
It seems the clarinet is made of wood and a Bb. Could somebody enlighten me about this brand of clarinet and what I have. I've been curious for years.
Thanks in advance!!
Kim

Buisson clarinets were made by several different companies at different times, so it could be either French, Italian or Czechoslovakian.
Does it say 'Made in France' or 'Foreign' anywhere on the instrument?
Have you got any detailed photographs of the keywork you could post on here?

I'd like to get myself one of the "Rent-a-Horn" clarinets listed in GBK's link --- sounds like a wonderful instrument. Sort of the Chevy Cavalier of clarinets, hmmm.......
