 Double embouchure

I'm an oboist thinking picking up the clarinet, and I would like to know if double embouchure make it easier/harder to play on a clarinet. How much difference is there between a clarinet and oboe embouchure? Anyway, everyone tells me clarinet is way easier, and I certainly hope so, after years of trying to get a decent tone out of the oboe.

That sounds like my 10 year flirtation with the oboe family, I returned to cl's for ease of playing [and sanity!!]. I use both embouchures on sop and bass when it feels right for the music [heresy??]. I believe Stein and Brymer [et al] discuss this at length. Luck, Don
